Martine Klein

Martine Klein
Licensed Real Estate Salesperson

Martine’s passion for New York City real estate and ability to assess and manage the many aspects of a deal are recognized by her clients and colleagues alike. This passion and business acumen make her a great resource in the purchase and sale of properties in the city. She is also known for her positive and upbeat personality, and for her ability to zero in on a client’s wants, needs, and goals. Her eye for design assists buyers in envisioning a property’s potential and offers sellers insight into what needs to be done to their home to make it optimally attractive to potential buyers. As a long-time Manhattan property owner as well as real estate professional, Martine offers in-depth knowledge of the City’s real estate market, services, and cultural and recreational opportunities. She enjoys the constant experience of discovering unique spaces for her clientele. More importantly, she does not consider herself a salesperson, but rather someone with the expertise to navigate the very complex process of buying into the fast moving and competitive NYC market, including negotiating prices, presenting buyers in the strongest light to get the deal, and crafting expert board packages.

Born and raised on Long Island, Martine earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Rochester. She then went on to co-own an importing and wholesale business with Laura Edelman, now her partner in Spark Realty. Trained as a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), she considers her previous business venture to have been invaluable to her expertise in negotiation, as well as in sales, customer service, marketing, and communications. It was her personal experience in buying, selling, and renovating New York City real estate, however, that sparked her desire to help others with their property purchases and sales.

Martine’s desire to assist others goes beyond her professional life, as demonstrated by her strong community involvement. She has served on her local community council, school board nominating committee, PTA, the executive board of her synagogue, and volunteered a decade of her time on the committee for cultural arts and enrichment in her community’s schools. She and her husband, an attorney and real estate Broker, have raised four children, which she considers her most proud and significant achievement of all.
